Who are Daligas?
Daligas are a private, independent gas supplier based in London. They started trading in 2012.
The company aim to keep their operating costs low so that they can pass those costs onto their customers. They offers just one tariff and only one payment method to keep things simple.
Daligas only offer one tariff. This is a variable-rate tariff. The company do not offer a fixed-rate tariff.
Daligas only supply gas. They do not supply electricity. A such, the company do not offer a dual-fuel discount and there are no special tariffs for electric vehicle owners. As a gas-only supplier, Daligas do not offer a ‘feed-in’ tariff.
There is no minimum contract term and as such, Daligas does not charge any exit fees when the company’s customers switch to another energy provider.
Daligas are cheaper than the average gas supplier for the average customer. However, because the company charges the same price for the whole of the UK rather than charging different prices in different regions, where you live could have a bearing on how competitive Daligas are.
As a relatively small company, there are not many online reviews of Daligas. The company do not appear in the Which? survey and there are only 76 reviews on TrustPilot.
However, the reviews on TrustPilot give cause for concern with 51% rating the company as Bad. The majority of customers say that customer service is extremely poor and there are complaints that Daligas charge random amounts and then send debt collectors around.
Daligas only supply gas, so none of their energy is renewable.
Daligas have a freephone customer helpline that is manned Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Customers can also email the company or complete the online contact form on the Daligas website. There is no Live Chat facility.
Figures are not available that show how responsive the company are. However, according to the Daligas website, there are 26.1 complaints per 10,000 customers.
The Daligas website looks like it was built in the 1990s.
Other than a contact form the only other interactivity it offers is an online quotation facility that is excessively complicated and asks for your bank account details up front, and a facility to submit a meter reading.
There is no option to manage your account via the website. Daligas don’t offer an app, either.
Daligas do have a Facebook presence, but the last post on its Facebook page was in June 2014.

What happens if you move home whilst with them?
If you move home while you are a Daligas customer you need to give Daligas two days before your moving date and submit a final meter reading when you move. Depending on that meter reading you may be issued with a bill for any gas you have yet to pay for, or, if your account is in credit, you will be issued with a refund.
If you want to continue using Daligas for your gas supply once you have moved into your new home you would need to set up a new account once you have moved.
