Who are Go Effortless Energy?

Go Effortless Energy were set up in 2013 by Andrew and Melanie Burns. They are a small, family run energy supplier and their aim is to keep things simple and transparent.

They do this by having just two tariffs and those tariffs are clearly explained on their website, including how the pricing has been arrived at in terms of how it is broken down into fuel costs, operating costs, etc.

Go Effortless Energy are based in Stoke-on-Trent and deliberately employ local staff to boost the local economy rather than operating via a remote call centre.

What tariffs do Go Effortless Energy offer?

Go Effortless Energy’s aim is to simplify energy supply and this is why their main tariff is a fixed rate tariff. This tariff is a twelve month contract and there are no exit fees. They also offer a variable rate tariff with no exit fees.

Go Effortless Energy are not a FIT Licensee and so they cannot accept customers who require a ‘feed-in’ Tariff. In addition, there are no special tariffs for electric vehicle users.

How do Go Effortless Energy compare on price?

Go Effortless Energy are cheaper than the big six energy suppliers, but there are a number of other energy suppliers in the UK that offer more competitive tariffs.

On TrustPilot there is just one review. That reviewer scored the company as poor, saying that it was difficult to deal with Go Effortless Energy’s customer service.

The company says that they prefer their customers to contact them via email as they say they feel that makes it easier to give their customers a more accurate response.
