The company does this by helping to fund renewable energy projects and supporting green initiatives in developing countries. What billing options are available?

HUB Energy take payment monthly via direct debit. The first direct debit is taken on the day that the switch to them takes place.

The monthly direct debits are fixed for a year and are based on your estimated annual consumption. The amount of each direct debit is reviewed annually and customers are advised before any changes to the amount being taken each month are made.

It is important that you provide meter readings when they are requested. This will ensure that your direct debits accurately reflect your actual energy consumption which, in turn, will prevent you paying too much for your energy each month or building up a large debt because you have not been paying enough.

You can also make one-off payments, either online via the HUB Energy website or via bank transfer. You can also pay by posting a cheque to HUB Energy.

If you cancel your direct debit or your direct debits no long work because you have not let Gulf Gas & Power know that you have been changed bank account you will be charged a the higher non-direct debit rate.

Do HUB Energy offer smart meters?

Yes, HUB Energy do offer smart meters.

Customers who already have second generation smart meters should find that their meters continue to work when they switch their energy supply to HUB Energy. Rob runs Energy-Review.co.uk. The project initially began when he switched energy suppliers for the first time and found there wasn't a website that provided simple, data backed reviews on all the suppliers available. Since then, Rob has spent considerable time looking at all publicly available data about each supplier and writing reviews using this information. Reviews are updated as regularly as possible and any data is backed up by a source where necessary. If you find any issues, please use our contact form to let us know.
