Tomorrow's Octopus Energy tariff prices

Agile Octopus, Octopus Tracker and Outgoing Octopus all set their prices a day ahead, usually in the late afternoon. This compares them for one day and one region, which is the comparison an individual tariff page cannot make.

Electricity prices differ by distribution region, so this changes every figure below.

Your postcode is sent once to Octopus Energy’s public region lookup — the same one they bill from. We do not put it in the URL, analytics or database, and do not keep it.

Reading this fairly

  • The average is a plain mean of tomorrow’s prices. What you actually pay depends on when you use electricity, which is the whole point of a time-of-use tariff — a cheap average is no use to a household that cannot move its usage into the cheap hours.
  • Standing charges are not in these figures and differ between tariffs. A low unit rate with a high standing charge can cost more overall, particularly for a household that does not use much.
  • One day is not a reason to switch. Tariffs are worth comparing over months, which is what the price history on each tariff page shows.
