British energy data is scattered across regulators, system operators and statistical releases, each with its own units, geographies and caveats. These 40 views bring it together without flattening the differences that make the numbers mean something.

How we handle these numbers
- Every figure carries its publisher, dataset, period, geography and licence.
- Great Britain means England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland data is not mixed in.
- Power and energy, actuals and forecasts, and metered and estimated values are never silently combined.
- Missing data is shown as missing. A gap is never displayed as zero.
- Where a figure is modelled or derived, the page says so and explains the derivation.
You can take the data with you. Every dataset whose licence permits redistribution can be downloaded as CSV from /api/energy-data/export, with source, publisher, licence, period, unit, observation status and retrieval time on every row. Request it without a dataset parameter for the catalogue of what is available. Sources this site holds but may not republish are excluded, and say so.
