Its fixed home energy tariffs are backed yearly by 100% zero-carbon nuclear electricity. It also offers smart tariffs for electric vehicle owners and homes with solar panels, and sells EV chargers through Pod Point, which it owns.

OVO Energy was founded in 2009 and has grown to become one of the UK's largest domestic suppliers, partly through buying the retail arm of SSE in 2020. It focuses on smart technology and helping customers lower their carbon footprint.
